The Fondation Napoléon (Paris, France) possesses many rare books and a good number of historical engravings that are indispensable for the understanding of the history of the First and Second Empires. It has decided to make some of these works, which include some of the finest historical writing and some of the most interesting engravings from its collection, available here to enthusiasts and specialists alike.

The Fondation Napoléon (founded in 1987) is a registered charity committed to the encouragement of the study of and interest in the history of the First and Second Empires and the preservation of Napoleonic heritage.
